Day 4 (part 2):
After much pondering and trying out a few ideas I came up with this solution for the text.

I printed out the slogan and curved rectangle border on to a tranparency (had to do it in reverse so that it could be spun around, shiny side up, when place on the case). I then positioned a white piece of paper behind the transparent letters and after sealing the ink with clear coat I stuck them on.
